Kappa Sigma celebrates 35 years on the Elon campus on Homecoming Weekend -- November 7-8, 2008. We anticipate the largest alumni turnout in our history by far. Don't become that 'conspicuously absent' fraternity brother that everyone asks about... Make plans now to join everyone for the festivities! A. E. K. D. B.

Alumnus of the Year Award

This award is the highest annual honor presented by the Alumni Association; however, it has not been given every year of our history. Starting in 2000, the Alumni Association began following an informal tradition in which the award would be presented each year during the Annual Meeting held at Homecoming. The current practice prescribed in the Bylaws that accompany the formal Charter of the Lambda-Lambda Alumni Association established September 20, 2007 calls for an award to be announced each year.

The meeting Minutes for the Annual Meetings held from 1977 through 1999 are unavailable, so the listing here is certainly incomplete. The following list includes only the known award recipients. (Each Alumnus of the Year received an engraved plaque or other memento when his award was made. If you can provide names of any award recipient not shown here, please submit that information via e-mail message to Feedback.)
