Kappa Sigma celebrates 35 years on the Elon campus on Homecoming Weekend -- November 7-8, 2008. We anticipate the largest alumni turnout in our history by far. Don't become that 'conspicuously absent' fraternity brother that everyone asks about... Make plans now to join everyone for the festivities! A. E. K. D. B.

2008 Greek Life Awards

On May 7, Elon University's Office of Greek Life presented annual awards to recognize achievements made during this academic year by the organizations of Elon's Greek system. Kappa Sigma was recognized for 'Excellence' in Scholarship, Programming, New Member Education, Member Education, and Community Service.

Our chapter also won "Outstanding Risk Management". This category recognizes our chapter's excellence in aligning its overall activities in conformance with various operating policies established by the University and the fraternity's national office. In today's litigious society where legal exposure exists in nearly every fact of chapter operation, formal recognition for 'risk management' is quite an honor, indeed.

The Lambda-Lambda Alumni Association salutes our undergraduate members for all of these achievements!

Ten Kappa Sigmas represented the fraternity at the awards banquet. They are (left to right) LLAA GM Perry Black, Chapter GT-elect Billy Mathews, Faculty Advisor Rex Waters, Chapter GS Chuck Griffith, Chapter GT Chris Eydt, Chapter GM Jim Frisch, Chapter GMC Chris Farnsworth, Chapter GM-elect Tyler Graham and Chapter GP-elect Eric Liebendorfer. Assistant Alumnus Advisor Barry Baker also attended.
